Fish story without fish

I was absolutely determined to go fishing at the island. The wind was in my face and the current was against me, but so what--it was my will to get there, and I was going. After rowing a long way, I made it to my destination. I began casting my bait toward the island, but the wind and current kept moving me away from my destination. There were no fish, and my arms were falling off. I was totally frustrated.
