A Contribution to the World

Our Friday night group was as small as a group could be. My husband and I were the only two recovering alcoholics in town and the only members of the group. From time to time, we were joined by the occasional court-ordered person, and on some Fridays, when it wasn't snowing too hard or the salmon weren't running, AA members from the city made the forty-five mile drive out to support our little meeting.
