Next Time. . .
It took this AA member a long time to see what was right under his nose.
The word "insanity" gets bandied about quite a bit in AA. It's almost something we take pride in. We love to laugh at being a little strange--or even very strange. I don't want to downplay the positive power that results from learning to laugh at ourselves. Self-seriousness nearly killed me. All the same, I wonder sometimes how funny insane behavior really is.
