As I read my Grapevine last night, I reflected on peoples' attitudes about whining at meetings in whatever form it takes and how people judge it. I came to AA because my problem with alcohol was I couldn't stay stopped when I wanted to. I didn't come willingly, although I couldn't wait to come back as I heard something that was attractive--sober people living life without guilt or fear, and smiling.
