Odd or God?

Have you ever needed to find a meeting in a strange town, or in a different country, or while you were traveling? Here are several stories of people who found themselves "home again" while far from home.

I have been sober for almost five years and have been a truck driver for three of those years. The first two years I drove solo. As a female solo driver, my life on the road had advantages and disadvantages. One advantage was learning to live with myself and enjoy my own company. One disadvantage was that it wasn't wise to socialize very much. A lot of drivers interpret talking over coffee as an invitation to other things, so I learned to keep to myself. My sponsor has an 800 number so I had the opportunity to stay in touch with another recovering woman. She was, and still is, my anchor.
