An Alcoholic Unmasked

I have been a merchant seaman for twenty-seven years, having joined the Merchant Marine when I was twenty-one in Calcutta, India. Having recently had a "psychic" change, as described in "The Doctor's Opinion," I have now, for the first time in my adult life, been sober for over four months. I follow with interest the debate on discussing drugs and addiction at AA meetings. With only a few months of sobriety under my belt I don't feel qualified to offer an opinion on the subject, only my story.
