Moving Forward: Unity Through Humility" Is Theme of Conference
On Sunday night, April 18, 1999, the General Service Conference of Alcoholics Anonymous kicked off its week of deliberations with an opening dinner and an AA meeting with five speakers--a celebratory way of coming together, as well as a serious reminder that the ultimate goal of all Conference actions is to help the still-suffering alcoholic.
