I've been a recovering alcoholic for sixteen months. In that time I've struggled with my ideas of a Higher Power. Religion has not always been my favorite subject, mainly because my parents forced me to attend Sunday school as a child. I usually voice my inner thoughts on my daily walks in the countryside with my Airedale dog. This brings me closer to the spiritual side of the AA program.
