Holding on to "it

I was told something in early sobriety that has stayed with me through the years: "If you don't share it, you'll lose it." I'm housebound now and can no longer attend meetings, but I surely don't want to lose "it," so I correspond with alkies and talk to an alkie every day. When I have an occasional visitor a small meeting can take place. Staying grateful for whatever befalls me has kept me sober and fairly well contented. I have had one helluva run.
