Distilled Spirits

I don't know Freddie's last name, how he earns his living, how old he is, or where he hangs his hat. I only know that Freddie is the spirit of recovery. He is a person who lives the idea "Hope is found here." Never one to criticize or complain, he goes to a lot of meetings all over the city and waits for his opportunity to offer hope and encourage dreams. Is hope found in your favorite meeting? Are you a dreambearer? In the spirit of AA, I need to ask myself, am I a dreambearer? Or am I a person who's only involved in reminding others that they have a lot of character defects and had better work on them, instead of birthing a sober dream? My life needs to show that living sober can allow dreams to come true, for me and certainly for you.
