The Light in the Window

Recently, a woman came to our meeting whom we hadn't seen for a while. Afterwards, she thanked us warmly for being there. The group had been her AA family that night. She had left a difficult personal situation and the meeting relieved the pain she felt. She said, "I saw the light in the window," and knew that the meeting was being held and immediately felt better.
