A Walk in the Woods
It was another gorgeous summer day in western Montana. Vacationing at a relative's home in the woods, I had everything I could ask for: sobriety, good health, an opportunity to help with work needed on the property, living close with nature, swimming in beautiful Flathead Lake. It was a dream come true. Why, then, had I become absorbed in self-pity?
