At a recent meeting, a woman who'd been sober for some time asked the question, "Why do we close with the Lord's Prayer if we are not a Christian organization?" This, of course, spawned lengthy discussion, both pro and con, on an increasingly divisive issue: what should be AA's relationship to this traditionally Christian prayer?
