According to Whom?
Following the presentation of three articles in the June 1999 issue, two more AA members take a look into how AA is holding up after all these years.
Sometimes at meetings the chairperson reads a statement saying that "when discussing our problems, we confine ourselves to those problems as they relate to alcoholism," or the chair asks that "all who participate confine their discussion to their problem with alcohol." What troubles me is: who determines which problems relate to alcohol? The old-timers? The chairperson? Me?
