Sprouts in a Faraway Ukraine

We'd like to draw a brief picture of the development of the AA movement in Ukraine. In 1989, at the time when Ukraine was a part of the USSR, we had a dear guest in our land who was an AA member. His name was Leo. We accepted him and what he brought to us into our hearts. The news about his death touched everybody who knew him personally and those who knew about him from others. Leo arrived at the capital of Ukraine first. After the trip to Kiev, fortune brought him to our town, Lutsk, and then to Odessa. So there were formed three groups in Ukraine. We are grateful to God that Leo happened to get to our provincial town.
