Love, Laughter, and Hope

I have had some remarkable experiences since sobering up and not all of them have been pleasant. Life is, after all, life. On April 1, 1998, I faced the darkest moment in my sobriety. My thirteen-year-old son, Reed, committed suicide. He was my youngest son, one of my staunchest supporters in life and love, with a tremendous appreciation for AA.
