Passing the Bucks

I was not looking forward to making this particular Ninth Step amends. It would involve paying back money to people unaware of the extent of my alcoholism and past dishonesty. But after two years of slipping in and out of AA and recovery, I didn't want to drink again. I knew that I'd have to work Step Nine to the best of my ability.
