ONE NIGHT MY SPONSOR AND I went out to dinner. As the maitre'd led us to our table, we passed the bar. For the first time, I noticed how dark it was. "Why do they keep the lights so low in a bar?" I asked. "Is it because our eyes hurt when we were drinking?"
