Sober at Seventeen

The Big Book says, "To be gravely affected, one does not necessarily have to drink a long time nor take the quantities some of us have" (page 33). I began to drink at age twelve, and it would take me only five years to become physically, emotionally, and spiritually drained due to my inability to control my drinking.
