Before and After

I was twenty-seven when I got sober. I went to meetings, read the Big Book, called my sponsor, got active as group secretary, picked up ashtrays, and washed cups. I also kept my apartment picked up, watered my plants, played with and fed my dog, worked at a boutique, and tried to learn how to live sober.
