Archives--The Invisible Craft

When I started to work at the Archives of the General Service Office in 1994, I was genuinely amazed by the long history of archival service within the Fellowship. The GSO formally opened its Archives Department in 1975, but the first efforts to collect, protect, and preserve the history of the Fellowship were started as early as the 1950s by the co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous, Bill W.
