The Biggest Word in the English Language

When I came to Alcoholics Anonymous in 1988, it was at the end of a thirty-year drinking career. Over those thirty years I'd thrown away innumerable God-given opportunities, destroyed two marriages, and generally made a shipwreck of what could and should have been the best years of my life. So it was that when I walked into that men's meeting long ago, I was desperate. It was either go to AA or eat my revolver, and I wasn't ready for the latter. Yet.
