A Magazine for All Ages

In my twenty-first year of sobriety I discovered that the Grapevine is not just for newcomers. In my earliest days in AA, my kind and patient sponsor finally gave up on getting me to read chapter five of the Big Book. She understood that my constant whining meant that I couldn't comprehend anything with thoughts so erudite nor with such long sentences--i.e., anything over three or four words. Of course I explained to her that I was unique and that chapter five didn't apply to me anyway.
