Simple changes?

I have noted the way the closing chant used after the Lord's Prayer has changed over the years. Keep it simple, right? When I first came to AA over fifteen years ago, most of southern California AA said, "Keep coming back!" Shortly thereafter, most groups "simplified" this to "Keep coming back, it works." This does not seem to have been simple enough, so it soon became "Keep coming back, it works if you work it!" Still not simple enough, so it became "Keep coming back, it works if you work it, and it won't if you don't." In the last year or so, to make it even more simple, more and more groups are now tacking on "so work it!" I suppose in another year or two the chant will be made even simpler by adding on "cause you're worth it."
