From Fantasy to Fellowship

I moved back to California in September of 1988 from Florida where I'd been living for three years. I chose Sacramento the way I made most decisions in my life at the time. I woke up one day and said "Sacramento. That's where I'll live." I'd never been to Sacramento nor did I know anyone in Sacramento. No matter. It was going to be great, I told myself. Only after I got into recovery, did I learn that I had made another geographic.
