Essentials of sobriety
As the result of working the Twelve Steps, my life has changed immensely over the last few months. If I were to choose to start drinking again, my fear isn't that I'd die drunk. No, my fear would be losing my conscious contact with God. For without an active relationship with my God, I have no sobriety. And without my sobriety, I have no life.
