Keep Coming Back--No Matter What

I'm Steve, and I'm an alcoholic. I grew up a pretty lucky kid in a good home in the suburbs of Los Angeles. I feel as if I should start there, saying that I didn't have a poor upbringing, because I've sponsored guys with stories of growing up that have broken my heart. So I know today what a broken home looks like, and I think I can say in confidence today that I was lucky: I was raised well; that was not the cause of my alcoholism.
