Shake it up

I'm worried about one of my favorite meetings. It's an old meeting and has been keeping the AA flame burning bright for decades. But recently, it seems to have lost its energy and life. Used to be, I knew I would hear fresh stories of recovery, alive with the pulse of the times. But lately, the sharing sounds distant, stale, censored. Used to be, young people were allowed to talk freely because, even if they got off the subject, their perspectives were so keenly honest. Now I hardly hear from the kids.
