I learned the hard way (don't we all?) that alcohol is but a symptom of my disease. A couple of months before my four-year anniversary, I was arrested and sent to prison for ten and a half months, which is where I'm sending this letter from today. I've learned more about love and the power of our Fellowship through the many friends I have who stood by me and continue to bring me the word of AA.
