I've been looking over "Resentments Like Medals," the letter from Dan B. in the March 2000 issue of the Grapevine [about preaching to others]. I've experienced the same thing, and I can always tell that I am on the wrong track, at least for me, if I start thinking in terms like "mediocre sobriety."
