See You Next Time. . . In Toronto

Save the dates: AA will celebrate its 70th Anniversary in Toronto, Canada, June 30-July 3, 2005. Set on the shores of Lake Ontario, AA's next convention promises to be just as exciting as this one, and perhaps even bigger. Toronto offers 8,000 hotel rooms, a 60,000-seat stadium, and underground passageways linking the convention center to hotels. In fact, the location is so inviting it has been chosen to host the convention twice. Toronto was the site of the 1965 International Convention, when 10,000 alcoholics from 30 countries celebrated AA's 35th anniversary. The theme for that Convention was Responsibility, and both Bill and Lois W. spoke at the Big Meeting.
