A mixed message
After reading your interview with George Vaillant, I have some serious doubts about his understanding of our primary purpose. When you asked for his views on the role of addicts in AA, he states that AAs should focus on alcoholism and that "there are enough alcoholics to go around"; we AAs "should never fear for our primary purpose."
