Taking My Own Advice

There is a teasing rivalry between two Monday night meetings in Indianapolis. What began years ago as a women's Big Book meeting eventually split in two. My home group is the Miracle on 34th Street; the other one is the Solid as a Rock Group. What moved me to put my thoughts on paper is the phone call I just received from my sponsee Shelley, telling me that Margie G., who had thirty-four years of sobriety, died early Sunday morning.
