Last year, I decided that I didn't need help any more and went back to a lifestyle that had been nothing but pain and misery for me and anyone who came into contact with me. Soon I began to notice that absolutely nothing had changed. I was back to being a full-blown alcoholic. I recognized my problem and entertained thoughts of getting help and quitting, and then proceeded to do nothing about it. I really wanted to, but I didn't. And that is something I shall regret for the rest of my life. For you see, one summer night, during a blackout, I did something terrible to someone I supposedly loved.
