The Inside Job

Bill W. said that the alcoholic is someone "disconnected" from himself, from others, and from God. "Disconnected" is a mild description of the condition I was in three years ago, before I decided to get sober. At that point in my life, I had lost faith in myself and any inner peace. I was grasping a mere thread of a desire to live.
