Nothing Like a Nerd

I reside in New York, the most populated area of the Northeast." We have all kinds of meetings in the area: sunrise meetings on the beach, sunset meetings on top of mountains, meetings on Wall Street at lunchtime, and meetings at midnight throughout the city. We serve alcoholics in shelters and hold meetings in mansions; we are agnostics and believers, people from penthouses and people from park benches. We meet in various languages--French, Korean, Polish, to name just a few--and our Spanish-speaking community is large, unified, and service-oriented. There is not one weekend when a service workshop is not scheduled. So Alcoholics Anonymous in Southeast New York (SENY) is alive and well and extremely diverse.
