Never too young

I am deeply worried about the future of our young people in AA. The decline here in the Montreal area is frightening. The only young people's meeting has closed and the English-speaking participants in AA for our Congres De Jeunes is almost zero. What hurts me the most is that older AAs are still ignorant of the need for welcoming young people into the rooms. Comments such as "Aren't you a little young?" and "I spilt more booze on my tie that you drank" are standard. I also know of a case where young people were accused of smoking pot when it turned out they were smoking American cigarettes. Luckily, they didn't go back out.
