That Tom

I remember sitting at an AA meeting one day early in my sobriety and telling a little bit of my story. Across the table from me sat a young woman who was new to the Fellowship. As I spoke, her eyes got wider, her mouth began to open, and she became more and more attentive. My ego told me, "Tom, you are really getting this one. You're carrying the message like it's never been carried before. You're becoming an AA guru."
