Digest of Advisory Actions

Bob S., Jr., sounded the theme for AA's 51st General Service Conference at the opening dinner when he read his father's last speech to the Fellowship (on July 3, 1950). In it, Dr. Bob captured the essence of AA: "Our Twelve Steps, when simmered down to the last, resolve themselves into the words 'love' and 'service.' " There was an abundance of both at the Conference this year.
