Is It Now Yet?

When I became a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, my sponsor suggested that I try to live within the framework of one day. He said the fear of the future and the remorse of the past might be a burden I could not handle. For the next two years, I lived one day at a time. What an improvement over the past! I experienced real peace of mind for the first time in my life. But something was wrong. I could not put my finger on it, but something was wrong.
