Signal Trees

I officially entered the ranks of senior citizens recently with my fifty-fifth birthday. While that is not old, it is, nevertheless, old enough to start thinking about one's mortality. At such times, I find myself exploring such questions as, "If I had to live my life over, would I do anything differently?" My first impulse is to answer, "Yes! I would correct many of the mistakes I made." For as I review my past, I am confronted with the wreckage of my many failures. Few are the boasts I can make.
