Love, Hope, and Anonymity

You might have seen Billy R. anywhere in the Pacific Northwest during the 1970s. He hitchhiked from town to town, and I met him often in Spokane, Washington, and Lewiston, Idaho. In Spokane, we'd be in meetings together at Spokane's first Alano Club down the alley from Sacred Heart Hospital.
