Stormy Weather

I was about one and a half years sober when I took my first trip in sobriety. It was with twenty people traveling in a car caravan from Davenport, Iowa to Breckenridge, Colorado. I knew only two other people on the trip--my supposed best friend, with whom I'd had a very tense relationship since getting sober, and one of my roommates, who today remains a very good friend.
