God's Bonus

Before going to jail, I was crying a bit about it at an AA meeting. One lad asked me if I had a Big Book. My answer was yes. He said, "Take it with you. You will have a lot of time to read it." I wasn't happy with that statement, but after the meeting I thought about it. Whose fault was it that I was going to jail? Not his, not the cop who pinched me. It was my fault. I got drunk.
