Willingness, Lost and Found

I am truly grateful to be sober. This was not the case five months ago. I had fallen prey to the insane idea that I was not an alcoholic. I had over four years of continuous sobriety. I had a sponsor, sponsored other men at times, worked the Steps, was involved in general service at the area level, and had a connection with the God of my understanding. All of these things slowly but surely disappeared.
