Those of us who stand outside the door before the meeting to shake hands with everyone are very blessed. By the time the meeting starts, we are filled with smiles and hugs and have learned at least one new name. And just maybe, Victor E. is standing out there full of doubt and shame, needing just a word and a smile to get up the nerve to come in.
