The Most Difficult Service

In the February 2002 issue, Anonymous of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, complained about the practice of sobriety countdowns, apparently believing that the practice was painful for a friend who had recently come back from a relapse. She/he wrote, "I vowed never to stand up . . . to acknowledge my days sober."
