Excited about their rapidly-expanding ability to carry the message to suffering alcoholics, today's cyber pioneers are a lot like AA's early members. And with only a few years' experience in this new frontier, they also face similar dilemmas: How can the Fellowship get the word about online AA out to alcoholics and maintain anonymity? How can online AAs help preserve the unity and integrity of the program when so many people are starting online meetings all over the world, sometimes without benefit of AA's Twelve Traditions?
