Ham on Wry

ON HIS SEVENTIETH BIRTHDAY, a drunk named Jimmy decides that life isn't so bad after all, and he wants to extend it. So he gives up drinking and smoking, carefully watches his diet, and begins exercising every day. After six months, he's lean and fit and feels wonderful. Then one morning while out jogging, he's struck by a truck. As he lays dying, he cries out with his last breath, "Oh God, why me?" And from above, a deep voice replies, "To tell the truth, Jimmy, I didn't recognize you."
