I got a lesson in gratitude yesterday when I was waiting to go to rehab. I was in a local AA club having a cup of coffee and feeling sorry for myself when a man walked in and told me that he'd just lost everything in a tornado. We both grabbed our coffee and went into the meeting where he shared about what had happened and what he was trying to do to get back on his feet.
